Questions about tech packs
What should a clothing tech pack include?
A complete tech pack has the style details, flat sketches from the front and back, the bill of materials with fabrics and trims, a measurement chart with tolerances, construction notes, artwork, labels and packaging. The more of it you fill in, the more accurate the sample and the quote.
Do I need a finished tech pack to work with a manufacturer?
No. Many brands start with a sketch or a reference garment. A tech pack makes sampling faster and avoids misunderstandings, so even a partial one helps. Our team can complete it with you.
Is the tech pack builder really free?
Yes. There is no sign up and no payment. Your draft stays in your browser and nothing is sent to us unless you choose to request a quote.
Can Flame make the tech pack for me?
Yes. Our design and pattern team in Istanbul prepares tech packs from your sketches, references or samples, including flat drawings, measurements and the bill of materials.
