Everyday dresses, shirt dresses, knit dresses and party pieces patterned and made in Istanbul for online first labels in the Netherlands and Belgium, with EU sizing, tall lengths and multilingual labels.

Dutch and Benelux brands, many of them selling mainly through their own webshop, have dresses made in Türkiye because Istanbul offers pattern making, sampling and production in one place with road freight to Europe, and because Türkiye and the EU share a customs union under which qualifying clothing usually enters without customs duty while VAT is still due. Flame builds the pattern and fit sample, grades to EU sizes, sews in labels in Dutch, French or other EU languages and prepares the A.TR, invoice and packing list; confirm each shipment with your customs broker.
Dutch customers cycle, commute and work in their dresses, so on the first sample we check stride room, pocket placement and whether the fabric recovers from creasing after a ride.
Online first labels need exact garment measurements, fibre content and care details for every listing, so we record them per size and colour and send them with each delivery.
The Netherlands has some of the tallest shoppers in Europe, so many labels sell longer versions. We lengthen bodice, waist position and skirt on the pattern, keeping the proportions of the original design.
Webshop returns often come down to fit, so we try the sample on a fit model, review it across your size range with you and fix the measurements before production starts.

Many Dutch and Belgian labels release smaller drops through the year next to their spring summer and autumn winter ranges, with extra pieces for King's Day and the December party season. Share the date each drop goes online and we plan back from it.
We work in EU sizes such as 36, 38 and 40 or your own chart, and can add a tall line with its own measurements on the spec sheet. Base size and grading are agreed on the first sample.
EU textile rules require fibre composition on the label in the languages of the countries where you sell, so stock for Belgium often carries Dutch and French. We sew in your labels and prepare the commercial invoice, packing list and an A.TR when the goods qualify; your customs broker confirms the details.
